Privacy Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026. Lumiphane is a browser-based lithophane tool. We do not store your photos or personal data on our servers.
What this site does
Lumiphane builds 3D lithophane models in your browser. Photos you upload for the generator stay on your device for that session. Creating or previewing a model does not upload your images to Lumiphane for storage.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and which features are opened). Google may collect device and usage information through cookies or similar technologies and process that data under Google’s own policies.
We do not use analytics to build marketing profiles of individual users, and we do not sell personal information.
Advertising
Some pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can learn more in Google’s advertising privacy materials and adjust ad personalization in your Google account settings where available.
What we do not store
Lumiphane does not keep a database of your photos, exported files, email addresses, payment details, or print orders. There is no account system and no user profile stored by Lumiphane.
Optional third-party features
If you choose to use an optional feature, that request is handled by the relevant provider. Lumiphane does not retain a copy of the content for those requests:
- Emailing an export uses Resend to deliver the message and attachment.
- Tips are processed by Stripe Checkout.
- Ordering a print hands your model off to Treatstock for checkout and fulfillment.
Those providers process data under their own privacy policies. Lumiphane only facilitates the handoff.
Local storage on your device
The site may store small preferences in your browser (for example, a tip thank-you flag) so the interface can remember a recent action. That data stays on your device and is not uploaded to Lumiphane for storage.
Children
Lumiphane is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
